Let's Talk
Hi, thanks for checking out my blog! On my site you will find reliable information related to nutrition and fitness. I know firsthand how difficult it is to find wellness-related sources on the web that are trustworthy. As a student, I spend many hours writing papers for which I must find such sources, and I have done this enough to be able to tell in a short time whether or not a source is reliable. The purpose of this website is to share my skills with source evaluation. On this blog I will post the final results of my searches, so that you can have all the most reliabe sources in one place. I figure my hard work shouldn't just be benefiting me, which is why I am bringing it to you!
A Little Bit About Me
I'm Beth, a college student seeking a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. My goals are to become a Registered Dietitian and Certified Health Education Specialist; that being said I do not yet have these credentials and don't claim to know as much as these certified professionals.
Being a nutrition major, most people assume that I eat healthfully all the time and that I expect them to as well. Truth is, I love to eat dessert! The secret is that I choose to enjoy it in moderation, rather than with every meal. Also, despite the fact that part of my degree is related to exercise, I am not an athlete and I do not hold those around me to high athletic standards. I don't expect or even encourage everyone to be running marathons. I do however try to incorporate physical activity into the rest of my lifestyle and believe that even if you or I can only do a little, a little is better than nothing.
Most of all I want to help people, and I hope my blog can be helpful to you!
